Norma Emily Levy

Norma Emily Levy, 89, of Cypress, Texas passed away on November 15, 2012. She was born on September 21, 1923 in Corning, New York to Claude and Mary Jones. Norma was a very special wife, daughter, mother, sister, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy filled with wonderful memories and daily examples of a Christian life we all aspire to lead. Porcelain doll making , crafts, leading the church choir, playing the organ, gardening, traveling with her sweetheart, camping with the boys, and spending precious time with her family were just a few of the many things she enjoyed. Everyone who knew her, loved Norma. Her sweet but feisty spirit will never be forgotten. We love you Norma and will miss you. You will forever be in our spirit and our hearts. Norma is survived by her husband, Lionel Levy, Jr.; son, Michael Levy and his wife Sharon, son, Jack Levy and his wife Deborah; grandchildren, Tamara Owens and her husband Jimmy, Natalie Penn, Derek Levy, Faith Penn, Nicole Levy, Bobby Levy, and Sarah Levy; sister, Deane Gomez. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday November 19, 2012 in the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
