Norman L. Wilkerson born July 8, 1939, passed away December 9, 2011 at home from complications following heart attack & cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Levi & Dell Wilkerson; 2 brothers; 1 sister & 1 daughter in law. Norman leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Della Wilkerson; daughters, Norma Hartness (Gary), Dorothy Thomas (Ricky); son, Norman Wilkerson Jr., (Pamela); grandson: Norman Wilkerson III, Spencer Hartness, Jeremy Wilkerson; Blake Wilkerson; granddaughters, Elizabeth Wilkerson, Joycelynn Hartness; brother, Louie Wilkerson (Nancy) of Newton, TX; brother in laws, Philip Sylvester (Brenda) of New Caney, TX., Joel Sylvester (Gaye) of Huntsville, TX. The family will receive from 5-8PM on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Brookside Family Chapel. Interment will follow in Splendora Cemetery. Active Pallbearer: Richard Wilkerson, James Sylvester, Rocky Jett, Skipper Jett, Wayne Freeman, Buddy Hall. Honorary Pallbearers: his 6 grandchildren.
