Norris E Hardin

Norris passed peacefully from this life the afternoon of Sunday, January 3rd, 2016 after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregiver during the last days of his life. Norris was born in Washington County, KY, but has been a resident of Houston since 1955. Norris and his wife, Patsy, moved to beautiful Coldspring, TX where he lived the remainder of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents Erastus and Beaulah Hardin; siblings:Lavon Raley, Wade Carol “WC” Hardin, Lucille Devine, Marvin Hardin, Loraine Tucker. Norris is survived by brothers: Clifton Hardin (Alice), Billy Hardin (Carolyn); wife Patsy Hardin; children: Franklin Hardin (Frances), Cynthia Hammack (Thomas), David Hardin (Cheryl), Cathy Smith (Gray), Tammy Hardin, Barbara Mitchum, Jack Seamans, David Seamans; grandchildren: Jason Goodwin, Ashley Prade, Brandon Seamans, Krysta Coughran, Samantha Haywood, Bryan Hardin , Brad Hardin, Chuck Smith, Amber McCool, Christopher Smith, Wendy Yancey, Paul Butterfras, Cheryl Lankford, Danny Mitchum Jr., Darrell Mitchum, Glenn Mitchum, Corey Seamans, Christina Seamans, Cody Seamans;

great-grandchildren: Gracie Goodwin , Gavin Goodwin , Gabby Page, Camryn Coughran , Kason Haywood, Penelope Smith, Jasmine Smith, Ethan Smith, Lily McCool, Lucas James, Darcy Segura, Johnathan Mitchum, Shae Mitchum, Brayden Mitchum, Sidney Mitchum Abigail Mitchum, Danny Mitchum, Leslie Cote, Damien Cote, Mathew Roberts, Sabrina Yancey, Johnwayne Yancey, Jr., JaxonWayne Yancey, Corey Lee, Krista Butterfras, Breanna Mitchell and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039
