Ola Jane Hubbard

While attending Jacksonville Baptist College and a member of Highlands Baptist Church, she met, then married Max R. Hubbard. They first lived in Houston, Texas and eventually moved and settled in Splendora, Texas. They had two children, son Paul Joe and daughter Elizabeth Ann.

Jane and Max shared a devoted life to serving the Lord Jesus, each other, family and church. In addition to farming and having a vegetable garden, she was involved in ministering to her community through Sunday School, WMA, GMA, little league sports, PTA, and singing in church. Jane worked as substitute teacher at the local schools, at the Cleveland Advocate newspaper, then at U.S. Home Corporation before retiring to love on her grandchildren. She enjoyed fixing dinner and feeding anyone who came to her home, whether it was family, friends, salesmen or strangers, that is how she showed love. Jane’s favorite scripture can be found in the King James Bible anywhere between Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21.

Services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway in Houston Texas. Viewing is Thursday, December 27, 2018 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services begin Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:30 p.m.
