Mr. Oliver Hilliard was born June 22, 1939 to Nathan and Pearl Hilliard in Houston, Texas. He was the second of four siblings. Oliver attended Houston Public Schools. He worked as a construction worker and then for the City of Houston in Public Works where he retired, May 31, 2005.
He attended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as a young man under the leadership of Pastor Robert Philips.
In 1976 he joined Oliver Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastoral leadership of late Rev. Solomon Williams where he remained a dedicated member until his death under the current leadership of Pastor Donzell Archie.
Oliver first matrimony was to Rohelia Gray and to this union 4 children was born. Patricia, Barbara Nell, Oliver JR, Denessa Renee and 1 stepson Jerome.
In 1966 he met Erally Beal Williams they were united in holy matrimony May 19, 1974 to this union 1 child was born Tarron Hilliard. Oliver had 5 stepchildren in which he loved and raised as his own Billy, Lawrence, Margarita, Angelo and Demetria.
In the completion of God’s purpose for his life, our Father and his Creator called his name to live with him eternally on July 21, 2020 at 2:40 AM.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: His loving wife Erally Hilliard, his children Patricia Johnson (Kevin), Barbara Nell Hilliard, Tarron Hilliard, Lawrence Williams (Jackie), Margarita Clayborne (Cedric), Angelo Williams (Kimberly), Demetria Foster (Craig). 2 adopted great grandchildren, Kamille and Gracey Block and loving daughter-in-law Deborah Williams, 3 Sister in laws Estella Butcher, Evelyn Cathey and Betty Beal, 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Nathan and Pearl Hilliard; brothers, Nathan Hilliard Jr and Nathan Hilliard II; sisters, Ella Mae Wells and Claudia Jean Simpson, Brother in Law Lee Author Wells: Children: Oliver Lee Hilliard Jr, Billy Joe Williams Jr, Jerome Hilliard, Denessa Renee.

I am Gracey, I was Oliver's Great-granddaughter and i just want to say that i really love and miss you so much. There is a lot going on these days and i wish you were here to experience them with me. I miss you so much and I will always cherish our special memories.
