Olivia Abney was born on 08/16/1940 in Arcadia Louisiana to KC and Lena Mae Abney. She passed away on the same day and date of 08/16/2026.
Olivia worked hard to take care of her only child. She worked for Wyatt’s Cafeteria for 28 years and gave her family the opportunities to get employed while working for this company. She worked for Noah’s House for 10 years. Olivia traveled when she could and loved fishing and her family.
When Olivia retired, she started to turn her attention to her spirituality. She started to study the Bible because she wanted to know more about Jehovah and His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. She listened to the religious leaders and she read her Bible. Olivia finally asked for her own private Bible study from her Bible Teacher, Ellen.
Olivia looked forward to a time where she could see her sisters and her parents in paradise. She visualized how she wanted her house to look and she spoke about it being around some type of lake or river. She talked about the scripture found at Revelation 21:4-5. Olivia studied until the disease in her body would not allow her to read or study anymore. She was surrounded by love from her sisters, aunties and uncles, nieces’ grand-nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews and cousins. She was surrounded by love and dedication.
Olivia is survived by her only daughter, Angela Caldwell; son-in-law, Oliver Caldwell; her two aunties; two nieces; grand- and great-grandniece's and nephews; and a host of cousins.
