Hey grandma, I’m sorry I haven’t written, I haven’t forgotten about you. I could never. I wanted you to be here to tell u how my day went, I finally landed a job. It’s nothing big or grand, it’s a small little gift shop at the mall. I had my first day today, and it was amazing, I had fun. The only thing that would have made today perfect would have been to have u here at home, so I could tell you all of this face to face. My heart is broken, i didn’t think you were gonna leave so soon, and there’s so many things I wanted to share with you, today included. I felt so accomplished for the first time in my life and not being able to come home and tell u hit me right in the heart. I’m not angry anymore grandma, I understand why god does things the way he does, and the more I think of it the more I think of how much u were suffering, and I hated seeing you suffer like you did. I asked god for a sign the other day when I broke down, anything to let me know ur ok. And a moment later I felt this type of peace I’ve never felt in my life, I can only think that this is the peace you’ve come to enjoy in heaven, and while it was just a small glimpse, it was enough to prove to me that ur alright.  I keep having these nightmares of you leaving us over and over, I know it’s not of god but the devil, and I will never let him win. Because I know your wrapped in gods light. I love you so much and miss you. This wound will never heal, and that’s ok. Because I never want to forget how much you meant to me. This pain is a reminder to do better, be a better Man, because everytime I feel this pain it reminds me of you and I ask myself if you’d be happy of the man I turned out to be, or will turn out to be. Behind god you are my driving force. I will never forget the things you’ve asked of me, and while I do stumble here and there, I do my best grandma. I can’t wait to be reunited when my time comes, and I hope the first person I get to see again is you. I love you so much.

Today made a month that you went home. I'm glad you made it home to be with dad, Anthony, grandma, grandpa, Uncle John, Aunt Linda and Uncle Pete. There was so much I want to tell you. I keep telling myself, no more pain. I miss you so much, every day,  every minute how I long to see you. It's hard to come home without you here.  I can't  do this . I cry every night. This was the hardest thing to do, to let you go. I was only being selfish. Mom , I  still needed you but I know that God said he needed you more . And he took you home.. We all know he has the ultimate power and answer.  That night was my hardest night, to see you take your last breath.  Mom,  I  know that I made that promise to you,  and I will do my very best to keep my promise.  You will always be my rock, my hero, my whole world. I keep telling myself no more pain and your with your parents,  my dad and my brother. Walking the streets of gold and living in the mansion that God has prepared for us.
