Onelia Garza

Onelia Garza, 75, of Houston, Texas, passed away May 29, 2017. She was born in Arcabuz, Tam. on May 13, 1942. Onelia worked assembly line work for Igloo Corporation. She was a member of The Christian Congregation of Jehova's Witness. Croqueting and knitting and gardening were her passions.

Left to cherish her memories are: children: Marie L. Lee-Rodriguez & Mario, Bertha A. Rodriguez & Horacio, Paul Garza & Sayly, Sonia E. Escobar & Ildelfonso; siblings: Juan Garza & Delia, Jose Garza & Graciela, Jesus B. Garza & Maria De La Luz, Guadalupe Garza, Maria Salazar & Rosendo; grandchildren: Ronnie Lee, Micheal Lee & Caitlyn Lee, Michelle Lee, Jennifer Cordova, Abraham H. Rodriguez, Isaac Rodriguez, Anoy Escobar, Tony Escobar, Raul Garza, Jr., Alexis Garza, Joshua Garza; great-grandchildren: Gizzelle Palacios, Yamiley Cordova, Michaela Cordova, Joshua Bereless, Cloe Torres. Onelia is preceded in death by: siblings: Ramon Garza, Bonifacia Garza and Sylvestre Garza.

Family will receive extended family and friends for visitation on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, with "The Talk" beginning at 6:30 p.m. The final farewell will be Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home with entombment immediately following in Brookside Memorial Park.
