He worked at Bush Inter. Airport and Tomball Hospital until his retirement. Ora married Sherry and took on the role as a loving husband and father. Together they had a beautiful family and became a wonderful blessing to everyone. He had an active role with his Church Holy Comforter until he couldn’t any longer. Ora was a hardworking man and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He leaves his children, Chris Jones and Melisa Jones, and Shawn Tanner; along with 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Ora will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A committal service will occur Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
Serving as pallbearers are Cameron Herman, Caiden Henry, Roger Henry, Ivan Noble, Chris Pate and Justin Tanner.
