Ortha Lee Ellis

passed away quietly on June 25, 2010 in Conroe, TX. She was an adoring wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother. Ortha was a member of Tallowood Baptist Church and loved babies, pets and flowers. Ortha is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Etta Henry; twin-sister, Dortha Smith; brother, Truman Henry and sister, Margie Meeker. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, George O. Ellis; daughters, Linda Lee Smith & husband Gary, Pat Rodgers, Paulette Marie Hamm & husband Pat; grandchildren, James Gaile, II, Lee Michael Clark, Darren Paul Clark & wife Denise; great grandchildren, Sean Austin Clark and Hunter Paul Clark; nephews, Truman Heimer & wife Betty and Robert Ellette. Visitation will be held 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077 (281) 497-2330. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Brooks officiating.
