

Oscar Longoria, Jr., of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, at the age of 52. He was born on May 1, 1973. After growing up in Houston, Oscar lived and worked during the last few years of his life in Monterrey, Mexico, where he passed away.
Oscar graduated from Jersey Village High School in 1992. He worked as a Data Analyst, first partly in Houston, Texas, and later for an American company in Monterrey, Mexico. Throughout his life, Oscar was actively involved in church, enjoyed participating in volleyball leagues, devoted himself to raising his beloved dog, Jax, and cherished creating lasting memories with family.
Oscar is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Longoria, Sr., and his loving niece, Alexa Nikole Longoria. He is survived by his fur-son, Jax Longoria; his mother, Fran Longoria; and his nieces, Valerie Khrystyne Botello, her husband Paul Botello and their daughter Sophia Nikole Botello; and Kayla Alyss Hernandez-Lagrone, her husband Jarrett Lagrone and their children Zachariah Alexander Hernandez and Leia Anne Lagrone.
The family would like to thank all their aunts, uncles, and cousins for the care and compassion they showed Oscar in his final days. Special thanks to Martha, Elena, Junior, Tere, Concha, and MaraLuz, as well as Carlos, Laura, and Marcos.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration Life Breakfast and visitation with the family at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park on March 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at 12:00 p.m.
