Treviño is survived by his wife of over 52 years, Sylvia Treviño; four sons and their families; Sergio and Victoria Treviño, grandchildren Joshua, Clarissa, Evelyn, and Rosanna; Jorge A. and Brenda Treviño, grandchildren Brandon and Chelsea; Ariel Treviño, granddaughter Arlet; Eduardo Treviño and Marisa Burke, granddaughter Ariana; siblings and their families, Jose Homero Treviño and Family, Guadalupe De La Garza and Family, Ninfa C. Alvarez and Family, and San Juanita Ponce and Family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
