Pam was born on October 6, 1951, in Vernal, Utah to her parents Clara Edith Kerby Stevenson and Wilbur Maurice Stevenson. Her dad was in the oil exploration business and in her early years she lived in Utah, Wyoming, Colorado. She attended grade school and Junior High in the Cherry Creek school system in Denver, Colorado. The family moved to California in 1966. She graduated from Upland High School where she loved performing with the high school drill team.
With her first husband, Roy Burney, she had two beautiful daughters, Cathy and Erin.
After moving to Houston, she met her soulmate Alan Dalby. They were married on May 26, 1984. While she worked full time, she completed her bachelor's degree at Houston Baptist University, and became a Certified Public Accountant, working in the oil and gas
industry throughout her career.
She became a member of Mensa International in her 20’s. She pursued her love of music performing with Opera in the Heights, Houston Choral Society, The Houston Symphony Chorus and The Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Houston.
Pam and Alan were active with their family and many friends and made annual trips to see the whooping cranes at the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge. They developed a love of cruising, traveled around the world, and loved playing golf together. When her mother’s health declined, Pam became her loving and devoted caregiver.
