

Pascual also known as Paul, graduated from MacArthur High School. He met Cecilia in High School and married his high school sweetheart on September 17, 1977. Paul joined the United States Army and later began his career in the trucking industry at Victory Packing for 11 years. He had a passion for fishing and building computers (self-taught). Paul was a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed many friendships throughout his years. He lived his life with an outrages sense of humor. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed many trips to Galveston. Where he would spend many hours at his favorite spot on the Jetties. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. His presence will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pascual L. Escamilla Sr. and Flavia C. Escamilla; brothers, Christopher Escamilla, Alexander Escamilla, and Jimmy Escamilla; sister, Linda Gonzales.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia L. Escamilla; daughter, Sabrina C. Scala; son, Juan Pascual Escamilla; grandchildren, Xavian D. Escamilla, Anthony M. Scala Jr., Haylei J. Scala, Leilani A. Peter-Escamilla, Alekkai I. Peter-Escamilla, and Alia D. Peter-Escamilla; sisters, Mary Aleman, Patricia Escamilla McAllester, and Shirley Ratcliff; along with many family, friends, and cherished cat, Precious.
Serving as pallbearers are Juan P. Escamilla, Xavian D. Escamilla, Anthony M. Scala Jr., DeAndre Brown, Rolando Escamilla and Rigo Rodriguez.
A visitation for Pascual will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A committal service will occur Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
