

Patience was born on February 12, 1950, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to William and Ruby Joles. Patience was fun and full of joy no matter the circumstance, and she was full of life until the very end. She lived a life marked by love, kindness, and faith in Jesus Christ. She had a remarkable gift for making the unseen feel seen and everyone she met feel like family. She was also an encourager, always lifting others up with her words, love, and presence. Her compassionate heart left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Patience’s greatest joy was her family, especially her eight beloved grandchildren. And four great grandchild They knew her as Nana, but her loving and caring nature earned her that title in the hearts of many others as well.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Gainey, Ruby, and Mark; her grandchildren, Morris, Stubby, Britney, Josh, Ruby, Speed, Gainey, and Holly; her siblings, Tillie, Gainey, Richard, and Bill; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Joles, and her siblings, Naylor, Archie, and Jimmy.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior received in eternal glory. Her legacy of faith, kindness, encouragement, and unconditional love will continue to live on through her family and all whose lives she touched.
She will be forever loved, dearly missed, and never forgotten.
