

Patricia Branard Gambino (Patty) passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2026, to be reunited with her family and friends in Heaven. She was born June 26, 1940, in Houston, Texas to George and Maxine Branard. Patty graduated from Reagan High School and later attended Massey Business College. Patty was married to the love of her life, Sal Gambino. They owned and ran a service station in the Missouri City for several years.
Patty loved to travel and went on many adventures throughout the country and internationally with Sal. She was also an avid supporter of many organizations that her and Sal were involved in, including the Texas Lone Star Chapter of the Korean War Veterans Association, the Houston Police Retired Officers Association, and the Sacred Heart Society. She also enjoyed genealogy and spent many hours researching and gathering information and sharing her findings with historical organizations and family and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Sal and son Dino Gambino. Patty is survived by her children Sal Jr. (Dana), Diane McWhorter (David), and Rick Gambino; daughter in law Amy Gambino, and grandchildren Lisa, Candace, Mary, Cody, Michael, Andrea, Sarah, Elizabeth, Gracie and Cort; great-grandchildren Kayli and Bradley; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Houston Police Retired Officers Association, P.O. Box 130787, Houston TX 77219.
A visitation will be held at American Heritage Funeral Home, located at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, on February 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same venue from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on the same day.
