Last week was really tough for me ... I realized just HOW MUCH my mom was a mother, friend, and confidante when she was alive.  Our daily (sometimes, twice daily) conversations and laughs are so terribly missed!!!!  I will always love and adore her!

Mekel and Stan, we know that your mom will truly be miss, We will miss her all so. She was a inspiration to be around. She brought laughter and joy where ever she went. But God need some of joy and laughter with him, so he called for his "ANGEL" what a blessing. We will continue to keep you and Stan in our prayer and thoughts. We love you all,

Hi Mekel! Your mother was such a sweet person, a quiet spirit. Always joyful to me. Now she is resting in peace with the Lord until we all see each other again. Peace and comfort to you, brother and family. Hope to see you before you head back home. : )

MS PAT was a lady that i had the chance to meet and love and even had the chnce to do her hair once she was a very sweet person and i know she will be greatly missed Stan and Mekel keep your head up high and think of all the god times and the fun yall had together stay prayed up and keep the faith be strong like she was during her battle love yall

Thanks to you all for offering such wonderful thoughts and memories of my mom!  I must say she ran her race, with perserverance and no complaints to the very end!  My mom was pure gold, and my love for her is so deep!  But, how could I solely grieve when I know where she is?  She told me and Stanley on the days prior to her passing that "the men" were calling her home, and that they were very nice.  My faith tells me that these were the Lord's angels, gently guiding her into eternal life.  I'm so very happy for her, especially when I think about the pain she was spared from in this life.  I love you all!  May God bless and keep you!  And, most importantly, may your love for the Lord grow ... this is one of the most important things my mom taught me :)

Staney and mekel your mother love you both so much and  me and her would get together and would talk about anything and start laughing she love her dogs . Miss Pat was fun to be around with and always ask me how was I doing every time we talk or together, she a very smart lady with a heart of gold . Miss Pat would say ' For I AM  now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand; I have fought good fight; I have finish my course; I have kept the faith.;  II Timothy 4;6-7

Stanley and Mekel, may the peace which comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead.

We are thankful to God for allowing your mother, our cousin, to bring so many happy moments in our life.  She left us with a treasure full of memories and we will never forget her.  We are praying for you during your difficult time. It is our prayer for the Lord to strengthen,heal and keep you. We would like to share these two scriptures with you.

Stanley and Mekel, we are standing by your side in our prayers each night.  It is our prayer that your hearts be filled with beautiful and joyous memories of your mother.  We loved Pat so very much.

God has a great and perfect plan for all His children.  Mrs. Harris being a child of God lived her life to the fullest and never to my knowledge took her eyes of her Heavenly Father.  Like Job from the Bible, she took all the blessing and trials that life sent her way and always praised Him.  My fondest memory of Mrs. Harris, secondary to meeting her when the Harris family lived in Katy, was when they moved to way up north Houston.  Mekel and I went to go spend the day with her.  I don't remember what we did that day or the reason for our visit.  The good thing about Mrs. Harris was that you never really needed a reason to visit; she always had an open door policy.  Any way at the end of the day when Mekel and I were dropping her off, the song by Beyonce â€œSingle Ladiesâ€ came on the radio.  My mouth dropped when Mrs. Harris started to sing and dance the chorus.  She lifted her arms and flipped her hand while singing â€œif you like it then you better put a ring on itâ€ and pointing to her ring finger.  To me Mrs Harris was a great Mom and advisor to one of my dearest friend and she will be missed but not forgotten.  Just because her work on earth is over, I hope that they can find comfort in the fact that she is in Heaven rejoicing with our Lord and helping Him prepare their place in His home for when it is their turn to go home.  My deepest condolences go out to Mekel and her brother Stan for their loss.  I love you very much.
