Patricia graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and received her High School Diploma. She married James Richard Herndon on June 13, 1953 and together they had a wonderful son. Patricia worked as a retail clerk for Strass and Walmart. Some of her many passions included, playing bingo, dogs and enjoyed attending social gatherings. Patricia will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. All who knew Patricia will miss her dearly.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Pheobie Hendricks; sister, Sharon Lowery, husband, James Richard Herndon, Sr. and son James Richard Herndon, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are grandson, Wesley Adam Herndon and wife Cary Herndon; great-grandchildren, Michael and Haley Herndon.
