She is survived by her husband of 41 years William Lambert, daughters Elizabeth Lambert-Waters and Susan Lindley and her husband Hoyt Lindley; and grandchildren Anna Waters, Madeline and Tyler Lindley.
Patty was born in Vernon, Texas to Frank and Mary Frances Paup and later moved to Midland Texas where she graduated from Midland High school. Patty graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with a B.S. in Fine Arts and was a member of the Xi Beta Epsilon sorority. She later received a Masters in Ceramics from University of Houston Clear Lake. She also attended Otis School of Design in Los Angeles.
Her love for the Guadalupe and for Camp Waldemar for Girls furthered her creativity in drawing, painting and introduced her to metal smithing through interactions with Hill Country fame James Avery.
Her artwork inspired not only students at Duchesne Academy and Holy Ghost School, but influenced civil leadership in the late 70s. Her banners for Clear Lake annexation were national attention among newspapers. Many of her paintings, sculpture, and metal work has been shown across the country including the Smithsonian.
Patty’s smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
