Patricia Lynn (Allen) Sehorn entered eternal rest peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Tomball, Texas, on February 5, 2026 at the age of 71, after facing pancreatic cancer with strength and faith.
She was born on September 2, 1954, in Houston, Texas, and attended Catholic school throughout her entire academic career at Christ the King, St. Charles and St. Pius X High School.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Sehorn; her parents, Cecil and Betty Allen; her brothers, Derrell Allen and Ricky Allen; and her sister, Pam Pizzino.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and David Dolejsi; her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Ann Sehorn; her grandchildren Trevor Dolejsi, Tyler Dolejsi, Justin and Sophia Wischnewsky, and Nicholas Wischnewsky; her sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Joe Cartwright; along with many extended family members and friends.
Patricia lived a life marked by strength, integrity, and unwavering devotion to the people she loved. She married young and became a mother at 19, embracing life’s responsibilities with determination. Family remained at the center of everything she did.
She was the co-owner and guiding force behind Circle D Transmission, where she worked alongside her family for decades. Known for her high standards and commitment to excellence, Patricia believed deeply in treating people right and following through on one’s word. In addition to leading the business, she was mechanically gifted and spent years rebuilding automatic transmissions—quietly doing the work without seeking recognition. Her dedication helped build a business that will celebrate 50 years of excellence this June.
Patricia shared a deep and enduring bond with her late husband, Dennis, whom she cared for throughout his illness with ALS. After his passing, she transformed her grief into service by helping establish The Dennis Sehorn Foundation, ALS Circle of Friends. The foundation provides meaningful support to families and caregivers facing ALS. Her contributions are a lasting legacy of her work to make countless families felt seen, supported, and less alone.
She had a gift for building community wherever she went, leaving behind a wide circle of lifelong friends. A natural athlete, she loved baseball and softball and especially enjoyed attending Houston Astros games. She also enjoyed woodworking, creating handcrafted pieces that reflected her patience, care, and attention to detail.
Patricia treasured time spent at her Tiki house, where she found peace relaxing, fishing, and enjoying the company of friends who became family. She also shared a special and deeply cherished bond with her aunt, Evelyn, who recently passed away at the age of 104.
Throughout her life, and especially during her illness, Patricia’s faith remained steady. She faced her diagnosis with courage, clarity, and trust in God’s will, finding peace in knowing her life was guided by faith and love.
Patricia will be remembered for her loyalty, work ethic, and her unwavering ability to show up for the people in her life. Her legacy lives on through her family, her business, the foundation she helped build, and the many lives she touched.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, 1200 W. 34th Street, Houston, Texas 77018. A luncheon will follow the service offsite at 12:30 p.m. Additional details will be announced at the service.
