She graduated from Waltrip High School in 1963; one of the first 3 classes of the new school. From there she attended North Texas State University and graduated in 1968, with a degree in music education.
One of her favorite hobbies and passions was quilting. She earned many awards for her skill and creativity. Pat was a member of the West Houston Quilt Guild. Having two sons she became a District Commissioner with the Boy Scouts of America. She also loved the youth group at White Oak Baptist Church. Pat loved her dogs, most recently her Sheltie, Buddy.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents Richard E. Love and Dorothy R. Love; and her husband of 39 years, Thomas W. McFeron.
She is survived by her sons, Lance E. McFeron, and Glenn R. McFeron; her sisters, Linda Maxey and Suzie Ripkowski; her grandchildren, Deanna Conklin, Audrey Besson-Pippins, Ashton McFeron, Clayton McFeron, Peyton McFeron, Austin Keene; great grandchildren, Jesse Keene, Josiah Keene, Annika Besson-Pippins, Rebekah Besson-Pippins; and numerous lifelong friends & family.
The family wishes to make a special acknowledgement to her neighbors and friends at Campanile at Justice Park for looking out for Pat and Buddy. Also a special thanks to her neighbors on Viking Drive.
