Patricia Middleton, 78, of Tomball, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 14th, 2020. She was born in Galveston, Texas, on September 27th, 1942, to Robert Alexander Rait and Sybil Frances Smith Rait. She attended Sam Houston State University where she met Gary Wayne Middleton, whom she married on October 2nd, 1965. They were happily married for 52 years.
Pat, as she was known, received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood and worked for St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church as a preschool teacher for 15 years. She was a member of Aglow International, an interdenominational organization of Christian men and women, for about 40 years, and served as President of North Houston Aglow for about 10 years. She had a passion for gardening, both flowers and vegetables, and loved cruising. She also loved her church, River of Praise, in Tomball.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gary on October 25th, 2017, by her father Robert on June 19th, 1987, and by her mother Sybil on April 30th, 1981. She is survived by her daughters Kathleen and Janet Middleton, by her sister Rosemary Sykes, by her nephew Stephen Sykes and his wife Jenny, and by her brother-in-law Bob Middleton.
