Patricia J. Conley Pilon

Patricia J. Pilon, 69, of Houston, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2014 in Houston, Texas after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born on a military base in Kingsville, Maryland on September 23, 1944 to Lorenzo and Jane Busdiker Conley. Patricia grew up in Detroit, Michigan where she met Tom Pilon and married at the age of 22. They moved to California for a period of time and then returned to Detroit after her father passed at the age of 58. One year later, in 1974 Jason Pilon was born. In 1976, the family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and in 1982, the family relocated making Kingwood, Texas their new home.

Patricia retired from State Farm Insurance where she worked as an Administrative Assistant. She was an active member of Lakewood Church for 20 years.

Some of Patricia’s hobbies included anything and everything to do with her son Jason Pilon; and caring for her many cats over the years.

Jason would like to extend his gratitude to Dr. Conrad and his team at MD Anderson for doing everything possible for his mother. Until the end we believed there was hope and will always believe this was the right thing to do, we thank you for all that you did for us.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving son, Jason Pilon.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 6, 2014 in the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home Champions, 3410 FM 1960 West, Houston, Texas, with Rev. Daniel Kelley officiating.
