MamaSan Pat,
This is the last time I get to post in this guest book so here goes. I knew you but a few short years but it seemed much longer. You won a place in my heart that I let few enter. We do miss you a lot. We went to your gravesite on the 20th to put some fresh flowers in and it was so hot not a mosquito one bit us. The ones there was Harold, Brenda, Angie, Rhonda, Rick, Chad, Tessy and myself. After we let Harold clean the gravestone we gathered together for prayer. We did get on Harold for cleaning his side first. 

You would have been proud of Chad and Tessy. Without asking them to do so they cleaned at least twenty grave stones around you so your area was real neat. They took your old flowers and put them on someones' grave who had no flowers.

I try to keep everyone in good spirits but it is difficult at times. I suppose in my 64 years I have learned to not sweat the small stuff and it is all small stuff in the end. Oh course ones passing is NOT small stuff and we all miss you so much,but life goes on. We will all have to travel down the road you have just traveled and the older we get the faster the journey seems.

So rest in peace fair lady and hopefully we will all be together in the future.

Things are different with you not here. Ron and I and the kids talk about you often and laugh about how funny you were. You stay in our prayers and  in our thoughts everyday. Hey Chick-a-dee how are things going in your neck of the woods.  I assume you have been pretty busy this past year catching up with old friends and family.  Things in this part of the woods are doing a-ok.  The last time I talk to you I was living in Texas but guess what I'm back in TN.  Oh yea by the way dad has a dog, but don't tell him I told you.  But I'm pretty sure someone else has already snitched on him.  But Sasquash is a handsome boy and keeping dad very busy.  I heard this new country song called If Heaven wasn't so far away if only that was true then we could all take a road trip to visit you.  But the cost of gas right now is so expensive we would have to borrow money from dad to get there. Hahahah. Oh yea I don't know if you remembe Jake but he might be coming to visit you soon so maybe you could take him for his daily walks and introduce him to your friends.  He love meeting new people. Oh mom, forgot to tell you.  I made giblet gravy & took Aunt faye some.  Of course it wasnt as good as yours, it was too salty, but she ate & appreciated that I thought of her, have to carry out traditon right.  Oh yea Pawpaw has a dog inyour house. Hello moma, just know there is not a day goes by that I don't think of you. You can see & hear me, so just know how much I miss my mom & best friend. I am doing my best to take care of things & people I know you would want me to. Sometimes I do let my emotions show & right now its really hard. I miss you more than you will ever know. I do have one thing that keeps me going & that is knowing you are in Heaven with no more pain & suffering.I love you sooooo very much & miss having you hear to talk to, cry to and you making me feel better. Know you will always be in my thoughts everyday.  You don't know how many days I really need you, but know one thing, I have some of the most wonderful memories anyone could ask for. Hello Gorgeous,  Well Momma it has been almost a year since you went to be with GOD and Jesus. I have picked up the phone to call you a few times and reality sets in. I want you to know that I still go to Church every Sunday and Wednesday. And I try to live for the Lord and do what is right. I will tell you that God has blessed me and my family in so many ways. I know that you are in Heaven and I know that you are looking down on all of us and you are very proud of us. I still cry at the thought of not  talking to you and telling you ( Goodmorning Gorgeous).  I can't begin to tell you how much I will miss you. You were my rock when I was down an you would pick me up. You filled many voids in my life an i know you new how much that meant to me. I will miss stopping by to see you after work on my way home an calling just when i needed some to talk to. You are one amazing woman!  You are very much missed!  I am sooo blessed that you got to meet my family.  I will always remember the phone calls from you when I was pregnant, asking if the heffer was home.  That always brings a smile to my face.  Or the time that you said that you wanted my chi chi's.  O Granny, we just loved your personality.  We will meet again and walk in heaven together along side Jesus.  You are a very special woman and will remain in our hearts forever.  You are a shining angel that can look over us now.  Mike, Hunter, and I love you so very much, and can't wait to meet up with you again!

        Where do I begin, I begin by saying I love you very much Gorgeous. I will miss calling you and saying the simple words ( Goodmorning Gorgeous, just called to tell you I love you and have a great day)  even if it was short and to the point.  I also remember the times you would call me and I would answer the phone and you would say these words ( Hey Handsome, just called to tell you hi, and that I love you so now I'm tired of talking to you, by)  and you would hang the phone up on me.  It was great just to hear your voice, I will forever hear your voice in my heart Momma! I will not be able to call you on the weekend we all had Christmas and mess with you about not going to make it and you would say, Ronald Dale, I knew then that I was getting under your skin, LOL!  I was not always at your house all the time but you knew how I felt about you!   Momma, I will never forget you !
