Patricia Ann Strickler

She was born on October 9, 1935, in Moulton, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband, Harley Elgin “Buck” Strickler; parents, John James Sofka and Adelheid “Ollie” Heger Sofka; sister Constance Elizabeth “Connie” Sofka; son, Mitchell James Strickler; brother-in-law, Weldon Liebscher; and sister-in-law, Cora Nell “Tuddie” Liebscher.

Patricia is survived by her son, Michael Ray and wife Kathaline, daughter, Donna Jo, and daughter-in-law Jan Strickler (Mitchell); grandsons James and wife Jesse Strickler, Darryl, Carl, Matthew and wife Shannon Strickler, Jeremy Strickler and Courtney Gruner; great grandchildren Henry “Hank” James, Cole, Reagan, and Brock Strickler. Also survived by niece, Lana Gayle Ashley; nephew, John Thomas Houser, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A special “Thank you” to Dr. Cynthia Williams (including her staff at the Medical Clinic of Houston, aka The Sunset Clinic) for her unwavering support and medical guidance for many years as Patricia’s doctor. A private family graveside service will be held on February 11, 2025, at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road.
