Patricia B. Vaughn

On Wednesday, August 31, 2022, Patricia "Pat" Batiste Vaughn passed away at the age of 79 in Houston, Texas. Born in New Orleans on March 16, 1943, to Joseph Quentin and Ethel LaCour Batiste; she was the third of five children. She graduated from Walter L. Cohen High School before becoming a full-time mother of five children and a wife. She was a housewife, a mom, a sister, a confidant, the neighborhood mom, and she trusted, loved and was faithful to her belief in God. The things she valued the most was not monetary but the love she had for her family and friends. She often told her children the thing she wanted most in her life was to be a wife and mother and she was an exceptional at both. She was preceded in life by her former husband of 33 years Lloyd Vaughn Sr. She is survived by her loving children Robin (Ferdinand) Boutin, Carl Sr. (Toni) Vaughn, Dana (Kenneth) Nurse, Nichole (Mark) Mims and Ryan (Kenyetta) Vaughn, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters and brother, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other family members.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery, Texas Liberty Mausoleum, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079. Repast will follow.
