I would like to share the traveling memories that I and my late wife Marsha had with Pat and Carmen. They began with the Mexico caravan in 1969 and yearly trips to KY for the Back/Bach reunions. We always took a different route to KY and made it a vacation taking in the area fromPennsylvania to Georgia. Great times with wonderful relatives. Rest In Peace Pat....

I am sorry to hear that my Great Uncle Pat has past. He will be missed. One story I will like to share goes back to 1969 when we had family caravan tour of Mexico. We had roughly 6 cars. My Great grand parents, my grand parents, Pat & Carmen, Dorothy and a few others. I forget exactly what city were in, I think Mexico City, but we were all at dinner and had just finished and uncle Pat needed a toothpick so when the waiter came by, Pat thinking he didn't speak English, made a gesture with his hand like he had a toothpick in it putting it in between his teeth. He proceeded to talk very loud because we all know that if you speak louder folks will understand English, saying "DO YOU HAVE A TOOTHPICK. A TOOTHPICK". The waiter looked at him and politely said "Yes sir I will bring you one right away". I thought everyone at the table was going to die from laughter. I have to admit that was one of the funniest things I have ever witness.
