Patrick Anthony Storti passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on January 15, 2026, at the age of 66.
He was born on Easter Sunday, March 29, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas; the son of the late Savannah and Robert Storti.
A self-proclaimed Air Force brat, Patrick spent much of his youth traveling the world, living in exciting places including England and the Philippines. When his father retired from the military his family returned to his mother’s hometown of San Antonio, Texas where Pat completed his education. At the age of 19, Pat was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left him with life altering injuries. However, those injuries did not keep him from living a full and productive life.
For the past 26 years, Pat lived at The Brookwood Community in Brookshire, Texas. The Brookwood Community allows adults with disabilities to work and flourish in a beautiful country setting. Pat loved his family, singing, chocolate, Coca-Cola, the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Astros; but mostly, he loved his life at Brookwood, working alongside friends in various workshops, such as stone casting, ceramics, horticulture and most recently, the finishing shop.
Pat is survived by his siblings, Michael Storti (Diane), Marty Herzog (Steven), nephews Harrison and Walker Herzog, nieces Sarah Williamson (Eric), Elizabeth Marshall (Austin), great nieces Audrey, Emily, and Julia and great nephew, Davis, along with many cousins and friends.
The family wishes to thank The Brookwood Community family and staff for their love and devotion to Pat over the years and the angels at Choice Hospice for their care during Pat’s final illness.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, January 29th at 1:00 p.m. at The Brookwood Community, 1752 FM 1489, Brookshire, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Pat’s memory to The Brookwood Community at brookwoodcommunity.org or the charity of your choice.
