Patsy R. Camp

Patsy Russell Camp, 79, passed away on March 14, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Don H. Camp. She is survived by son, Christopher Cass Camp and partner Jack Aubert, Cathy Camp Lucy and husband W. Mark Lucy, granddaughter Jennifer Lucy Estrada and husband Joshua M. Estrada, and granddaughter Danielle Renee Lucy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital Foundation at 343 W. Houston, Suite 505

San Antonio, Texas 78205. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 17th at 11:00am at Brookside Funeral Home at 9149 Hwy 6 N.

Patsy was born in Cordell, Oklahoma on August 31, 1931 to Delbert and Elsa Russell. Her sister, Joyce Russell Bargeilski was a constant companion and support. They moved to Pomona, California where the girls grew up and raised their young families. Patsy married Don Howard Camp in Pomona in 1954. They were blessed with a son, Christopher Cass in January of 1956 and a daughter, Cathy Sue in May of 1959. Patsy enjoyed taking part in the PTA, fishing and traveling with Don, going to her granddaughters’ dance recitals, taking in live theatre, cross-stitch and crossword puzzles, reading, and old movies. Patsy will be missed dearly by her family and her friends at The Terrace @ Willowbrook.
