Patsy Louise Ray passed away on Sunday June 5th 2011. Born in Austin, Texas on August 15th 1934 to Victor E. Smith and Winnie Mae. Patsy was a talented artist and a volunteer teacher aide, as well as a volunteer at Memorial City Hospital for over ten years.
Patsy married John Leslie Ray on December 31st 1951. Her beloved husband preceded her in death. The surviving family members are her loving daughters; Vickie (John) Harris, Kandy (Doug) Beckner, and Gina (John) Klawer. Patsy left behind eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are her three sisters, Joann McAlister, Martha (Don) Judd, and Shirley (Jim) Larkin.
The visitation will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday the 9th of June at Forest Park Funeral Home on 12800 Westheimer in Houston, Texas. The funeral service will follow at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation .
