As with so many who knew Patty, when I think of her I see a beautiful smile, hear her infectious laughter, and remember a friend who had enthusiasm for whatever her day brought. 
Patty was all of this, even when I met her as she and Bruce loved their first baby Ryan through his cancer treatment and death, as a nurse at Children's Hospital in Chicago. Strong, positive, always seeking knowledge, and compassion beyond. 
How grateful my husband and I were to have shared years of friendship beyond the hospital months with them and to see Drew and Becky arrive to bless their lives. Our young families had so many fun times and I was always amazed at Patty's creativity (and energy!)What a fun and loving mama who adored her duo!
 We made the long drive to visit Houston after they left Chicago as we missed them so much and loved when she would bring Drew and Becky to Chicago/Milwaukee for visits. 
I had not talked with Patty over the recent years and was so so shocked and saddened to hear that she had passed on. 
Drew and Becky my prayers are with you. What an amazing gift of love from your mom that you will forever hold. 
Patty, thank you for your light and love that you spread while you were here on this earth. I will always hold your sweetness in my heart. 
"When rocks are before you, be the water running through...." Patty was the water.



So sad to lose Patty, she clearly brightened every room she was in.  I met Patty in Veracruz Mexico where we partied for 3 days waiting for a hurricane to pass so we could sail back to Houston with our crew of 7.  What a fun time!  

During the  4 day sail across the GofM, Patty's fun-loving, devious, humorous, tenacious, giving, spirt was on full display.  We celebrated her birthday along the way.  I felt like she was inner circle for me.  I'm sure many do.  

Patty ... beautiful, sweet, kind, graceful, talented, generous and so smart.  I only knew her the last 8 months, but it was long enough to love her.  We shared a lot, especially sushi and vocabulary banterings  (she would always win). I was so fortunate to have met Becky and Minor and Katy,  and I felt like I knew Drew. I was with her when her wheel fell off her Lexus in the middle of Nasa 1 and when Full Blown opened at the strike of midnight 🕛 on May 8 in front of the national media (or was it paparazzi). She was a local celebrity, but oh so kind and humble.  It was an honor and  a unique privilege to have been one of Patty’s good friends. Rest In Peace sweet lady. You will be truly missed by me and so so many others

Many years ago, in a hospital room on 9 West, I first met Patty. I was one of Ryan’s nurses, sweetest baby. Her immediate interest in details of care, communication with staff was wonderful. She was always at her baby’s side. I could see the fear in her eyes but her big beautiful smile and laughter filled the halls while she play with her baby. 
When the unthinkable happened, Ryans passing, the profound grief that radiated off of her was powerful.
I witnessed her climbing back, albeit slowly, cautiously but successfully. 
I knew this planet was a better place with you. Her desire to educate herself, enjoy life at its fullest was awe-inspiring. Her caring nature championing many causes.

I last talked to Patty on her birthday! She let me sing, we laughed , talked about Becky ( she wants you to get a dog!) Drew (April 2024 Indy,  is in the path of totality, your bed will be waiting, I can’t wait!) 
I will miss her every single day, with you a piece of my heart. You will live in our hearts and never be forgotten .
Our friendship was a perfect blend of sassy and sweetness. You’ve left a cavernous hole in the hearts of all who loved you. No avoiding it, you were one in a million.

I first met Patty at her salon. We would talk while Robert was doing my color.  I would sit in admiration of her gorgeous thick blond hair as she sat in the next chair brushing it.  She was so full of personality and fun! We attended an event at the Redneck Country Club when we modeled  western clothes from Pinto Ranch for a charity event. What a blast that was! Patty was taken too soon and will be greatly missed. 

From High School  when we were first lab mates In Mr Banowsky's chemistry class , always an infectious humor and very intelligent, last time I saw her other than facebook was when a mutual friend came home and we all met at the hard  rock cafe. God called home another angel, She will be missed here on earth, by friends and family.

Patty was there for me from the minute I met her. I will miss her always and know that I will never be too far from her knowing Drew and Becky. A wonderful woman with an amazing spirit that I will carry with me always! Love this family and will always be thankful for them!

Dear sweet Patty,
We first met when I taught Drew and Becky at MMS.  What a pleasure teaching those precious children and becoming friends with you. I will never forget your help in planning field trips to Waco and your unwavering support when planning our class historical marker ceremony.  You were always thinking of others all the while having a smile on your face!  I’m so glad we kept up through the years!  God bless your sweet family and know how much you are missed.

I had the incredible fortune of being introduced to and becoming friends with Patty while designing the new Frostwood Elementary School, and secretly Patty’s Playground, about 9yrs ago.  We had a kindred spirit and I hoped we would be able to remain friends.  We did keep our friendship over the years and I got to know Drew and Becky as well.  I was honored when Patty asked if I could chat with Drew about choosing a life in architecture...he’s done AMAZING!
A few yrs go by and Patty calls to tell me about her new blow dry bar concept and wondered if I could help her design it in my spare time.  As I did not have any spare time, I introduced her to my wife Silvana and her office, who then worked with her and Drew to create her own special shop as well as other design pieces.  Of course they all became great friends too.  Patty’s shop, Full Blown, is walking distance from the building she was moving into...also a project I had a design hand in.  I was recently texting with Patty & emailing photos of the 15th flr views from her new apartment.
Your view must be even more outstanding now Patty...we’ll be looking up to you often!
Although there is a hole in our hearts, you supplied us with enough inspiration to carry on and continue in full-capacity,  keeping our memories of you with us.   Becky said it best...”Where there’s a Patty, there’s a way!!!”

Deeply saddened by the passing of Patty.  We knew her to be eternally joyful, friendly, kind and very generous!  She donated to Rotary's Silent Auction and actively supported charitable causes throughout the community.  No one knows the time they will depart from this world.  We can only control whether our time really counts.  Hers most certainly did.  RIP Patty.  You will be sorely missed!  

When Patty was born, I was in the Army in Alaska, and her Dad, Anthony asked me to share godparent duties with another family friend who we had all known since high school.  Since the godmother was living and working in New York at the time, the baptism was conducted without godparents present.  It would a year or more before I met my godchild, after I was discharged.

Our prayers are with Patty and the family with her sudden passing.  We loved Patty's energy, smile, creativity and caring.  I know that she is now organizing everyone and everything so we will all enjoy the beauty of the afterlife.  We will miss her.

Patty, I met you when you were the new yearbook adviser for Frostwood Elementary School and I was your Balfour yearbook representative. You had just  moved in to the Patty Lynn Lane home. I have many great memories of our fireside chats and the wonderful special events you so graciously hosted at your beautiful home. Godspeed, dear friend.

Patty...you will be so sorely missed by so many who had the privilege of knowing you and basking in your beautiful smile and generous being.  It just won't compute that you are gone.  Thank you for lighting up my life.  Heaven must be a tad brighter now.

I was a client at her Salon.  I’m so sad about her passing.  She was vibrant and shared parts of her children’s life with me. We both adored and lived for our children. Praying for her family’s healing and comfort during this time. ❤️

I will never forget how Patty would light up any room.  Her smile and laughter were contagious-- and no one was a stranger to her.  She did so many kind and thoughtful things for so many, and never expected anything in return.

We met after a Harvest Moon Race, and Patty offered me a spot in the car her daughter drove down to take us home. She was in a serious Pirate costume that I understand she wore more than once!  I will always remember our conversation about her childhood in Dickinson, and what Dickinson HS was like in the 70s. 
She was a strong, determined person, who made everyone feel included. I am saddened at her passing. My condolences to her family and colleagues. 

I will remember Patty for her joy, vivacity, intelligence, kindness, perseverance and loyalty. 
Few people have all of these attributes in such abundance. 

I will also remember Patty always for her remarkable smile on her beautiful face.

I know the challenges you faced and overcame. I know you are in a place of Joy! You deserve that.

Patty was my cousin. Patty loved sailing. A memory was at the Lakeside yacht club a few years back. We had a fun time with her and visiting on different boats and seeing her sail boat that she was so proud of.  We will miss her!

A memory of Patty was at Piatto's Ristorante, we had a lot of fun! We ate dinner, danced and enjoyed the music!  She was always a joy to be around! We will miss her!

I had the honor of meeting and working with Patty on the Uncorked event for Keels and Wheels. She was so inspirational and wonderful to work with. Patty was gracious, warm and friendly. She would light up a room with her beautiful smile. I wish her family and friends my sincerest sympathies in their loss. I can still see her sitting at the bar at LYC welcoming everyone she met with her genuine interest & kindness. Patty you will be truly missed. ❤️

Patty was a fiery spirit who always greeted you with a smile.  Though we’ve known each other for years, since her opening of FullBlown Salon I saw her on a weekly basis.  She always made me feel better, she always put a smile on my face.  I’m devastated by the news.  Prayers to Bruce and the kids, her children are her greatest legacy.   Miss you GF!!
