We first meet Paul and Dot in May of 96. They held Andrew durning his first Sunday evening service. I got to know Paul much more thru AWANA. Paul was assigned the kids that were interested in learning more about the gospel. Paul would ask the kids what the verses meant and find out where they were spiritually. Paul also in couraged me in investing, family life, and ministries. My son Samuel and daughter Ruth have very fond memories of those Paul Johnson AWANA talks. When Samuel's girlfriend found this out, she surprised Samuel with a birthday dinner with the Johnson's. All enjoyed this very much. We love you both much.

I have loved every memory that I have of Paul and Dot Johnson. How very special you both have been to me. One of my earliest memories of Paul was of him coming so faithfully every week to help the children in the Awana Club at church. And we prayed for him through his heart difficulty. The Lord allowed us to have Paul for a lot of years after that, and we are grateful. What a wonderful blessing to get to know Paul and Dot more at our group's Domino evenings. I think everyone in that group also really enjoyed our many Thanksgiving celebrations. We're looking forward to seeing Paul again One Day in the presence of our Lord Jesus.
From Bill and Exene Hanley with love.

It was a privilege and a blessing to have known Paul. He was a dear, godly man who always greeted us with a smile and had a word of encouragement to share. We remember him very fondly and look forward to seeing him in heaven one day. Dot, our love and prayers are with you and the family.
