Paul was born in Lafayette Indiana on January 11, 1947. He graduated from Purdue University in 1970. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He later joined the United States State Department.
Paul is survived by his adoring wife of 52 years Ann Spalding. He also leaves behind 4 nieces and 2 nephews. Patty Ann Byrd of Baton Rouge, LA, Kathleen Froehlich of Houston, TX, MaryBeth Eckel of Tomball, TX, Jaime Duncan of Terre Haute, IN, Stephen Best of Chicago, IL and Daniel Best of Spring, TX.
Paul and Ann resided at Eagle’s Trace Senior Living Community where he enjoyed the loving, caring and protective environment.
