Paula Ramos Juarez went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday July 20, 2019. She was born in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico on January 26, 1933 and married Isidro M. Juarez on June 23, 1948. Together, they had one son, Roberto, and one daughter, Maria del Rosario, the former of whom only survived to 8 months. The family moved to West Texas in 1966 and finally to Houston, Texas in 1972 where she raised her grandchildren Cristina and Roberto, who were the greatest joy of her life.
Paula loved gardening, knitting, crocheting and handicrafts and was an angel on Earth who never met someone she could not befriend. She was loved by all who knew her for her kind and gentle soul and served as a grandmother figure to all.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Maria Perez and husband Jose Perez; her grandchildren: Roberto Perez, Cristina Gamez and husband Ronnie Gamez; and her great-grandchildren: Roberto I. Perez, Marisa N. Perez, Reece X. Gamez and Julian M. Gamez. She is also survived by her sister, Julia Cisneros and brother Alfredo Ramos, both from Allende, Coahuila, Mexico.
A visitation for Paula will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Family Chapel with a burial to immediately follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Roberto Perez, Roberto I. Perez, Reece X. Gamez, Julian M. Gamez, Ernest Pallares and Jose Pallares.
