It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Paula Véliz San Miguel, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 91.
Paula was born on December 5, 1934, in Orange Grove, Texas. Throughout her life, she built a legacy rooted in faith, family, love, and service. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was the family she nurtured and loved so deeply.
Paula's love extended through many generations. She leaves behind her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and loved ones who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. Her family was a source of great pride, and the love she gave will continue to live on in each generation.
Although our hearts are heavy with her loss, we are grateful for the many years, memories, lessons, and moments of love she gave us. Her kindness, strength, faith, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten.
Paula may no longer be with us in person, but her love will remain with us forever. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and all who were blessed to know her.
Paula is preceded in death by her (Parents) Pedro & Evarista Veliz, (Spouse)Moises San Miguel, (Daughter) Belen J. Leonard and (Sister)Manuela Nunez.
Paula is survived by her children: (Son) John SanMiguel, (Daughter) Diana M. San Miguel, (Daughter) Lilia A. San Miguel, (Son) David Quinones & Spouse Hermalinda R. Quinones and her (Sisters)Nora Soliz & Spouse (Valdo Soliz), Clementina Gonzales & Spouse (Roberto Gonzales), Irene Silva& Spouse (Angel Silva), Marcella Rodriguez& Spouse (Lee Rodriguez), Juanita Ordaz & Spouse (Antonio Ordaz) and also 21 Grandchildren ,46 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great- Great Grandchildren.
May she rest peacefully in the loving arms of God, reunited with those who went before her. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be loved forever. ❤️
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003, on September 8, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
A Rosary Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003, on September 8, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Catholic Church is times are still pending on September 9, 2026.
A Committal Service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US, on September 9, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
