She retired from the United States Post Office after 40 years of service, and devoted her days to family. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino but especially spending time with her grandchildren. She loved treating them to meals and little surprises which brought her joy.
She is survived by her four daughters, Dina Escalante (Jesse), Renita Stepp (Luther), Veronica Vargas (Jesse), and Melissa Gonzalez (Jacob), as well as 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces/nephews. She was a woman of faith, finding peace in her belief in Jesus Christ. She will be remembered for her generosity, her laughter, and the care she gave so freely.
