I always called you Mr. Charles.  You were my friend and the person who always listened to me.  I miss you terribly and will always think of you with love in my heart.  I know where you are and someday we will be together and talk again as we always did.  With much love to your family and many friends.

I only new Paul Charles as Mr Charles. He was the head of his household. I knew him as a good man that loved his family and God more than anything else. I knew him as a man of integrity a legacy left to his family that (to me) is worth more than any inheritance are earthly goods. I knew those he loved and they knew me, many years ago. His character and accomplishments should be an influence for those left behind.He  will be missed but now, because of his earthly service, will sit with GOD IN HEAVEN. Good Bye Mr Charles... Perry L. I'd rather be out fishing where the water's cool and clear, or in the Black Gap Mountains hunting antelope and deer.

He carried me in his arms when I was just a tot, called me "bones" and "rat red" and showed me how to tie a fishing knot.

Took me on vacations to see all the sights, watched me play baseball and get into fights.

He's my friend and mentor, one who's always there, right or wrong, it doesn't matter, I know he'll always care....

This man that is so special and my life he's made glad, everyone knows him -- He's my Dad and I love him. (This poem was written over 25 years ago and due to space some of this was left out) but all the words still echo in my mind.

See you in Heaven Dad, I will miss you but I am sure the Lord is most happy to have you now.

I thank God for placing you in my life several years ago.  You were an awesome friend and mentor.  Because Jesus lives I know that you live with him my precious brother.  My continued prayers for you family.
