On April 14, 1943, Pearline Brown was born to the union of Wesley York and Ida Mae York in Huntsville, Texas.
Soon after graduation, she moved to Houston, Texas where she met her lifetime partner Oscar Brown. Together they had four children: Gwendolyn York, Oscar Brown Jr., Brenda Brown and Calvin Brown.
Pearlene lived a full and prosperous life, she work and retired from the Houston Independent School District after 20 years of service and she served on the usher board of her home church, Creston Missionary Baptist Church, for more than 10 years.
Pearlene brown is survived by her loving husband Oscar Brown and their children, Gwendolyn York, Oscar Brown Jr., Brenda Brown and Calvin Brown, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are a host of extended family and friends.
