Peggy Joyce Everton

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harold and Loraine Everton. She greatly loved her siblings & their spouses which preceded her in death; Dorothy Lowery & Charles; Melvin Everton; and Alton Everton & Reba and Jo Ann Lambright. With her passing, she is the last of an amazing era.

She was tragically preceded in death by her nephews and niece; Everett Scott, Gregory Everton, Clifton Lambright, and Brenda Thompson. She grieved for them as you would have if they had been her own children.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews that she cherished: Dorothy and Charles Lowery’s children: Charlene and Mickey Lowery Melvin’s and Ramona’s children:Sarah, Harold, Shawna, Kathryn, Michael, Robert, Donna, and Gary Melvin and Minnie’s children: Loraine, Douglas and Beverly. Alton and Reba’s children: Debra Davis, Wava Everton, Dawna Everton and Michelle Everton Burton. Jo Ann’s surviving child: Patricia Yager She did not birth any children but she adored and loved Michelle Burton as a daughter. Lisa and Ashley Burton were loved as granddaughters for they brought her great joy. She loved all children. Her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews were blessed to play with the Eccentric Highly Comedic Aunt Peggy.

She was always happy and made things fun for others. She was a live-in caregiver for her career. She loved to travel by boat, train, bus, car, any way, any how to explore the world and live life to the fullest. She loved to do puzzles and loved spending time with her dog. She will be greatly missed.
