

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David W. Halphen; son, Cliff & wife Roxanne Halphen; daughter, Sheryl & husband Pat Conn; five grandchildren, April & husband Mike LaBoda, Jennifer & husband James Wallis, David, Michelle, Summer; brother Bill Griffin & wife Donna.
Peggy was an active member of Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church in Katy, its Forever Young Organization and of St. Stephen’s VIP Club.
Peggy graduated from Austin High School in 1947. She went to UH where she met her husband David. At UH she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, a Frontier Fiesta’s Beauty and student council. Peggy worked at Baker Oil Tools and then as Aviation Coordinator at Pennzoil where she retired.
Pallbearers will be David Halphen, Mike LaBoda, James Wallis, John O’Sullivan, Jim O’Sullivan, Rick O’Sullivan and John Halphen M.D.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary by Deacon Don Kish at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
A Christian Burial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 20th at 11:30 a.m. at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church by Msgr. Jack M. Dinkins located at 1530 Norwalk Drive, Katy, TX 77450 followed by a reception. The interment will be at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. www.memorialoaksfunerals.com
