She graduated from Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1952. They also lived in various locations along the Gulf Coast including Lafayette, Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Alice, and Victoria. They settled in Houston in 1969 and relocated to Sugarland in 1977 where they lived together in the same home for the next 43 years.
She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a passion for collecting all kinds of jewelry and other collectibles, making repairs, and reselling. She was the co-owner of a collectibles retail shop in Houston, Texas. She also volunteered at the charity Guild Shop for more than 20 years where she typically worked behind the jewelry counter. She also kept books for her husband Jerry’s oil & gas consulting business and various real estate and other investments over a period of 40 years.
She and her husband Jerry travelled together to regions of the world. In addition to travelling extensively in the US (including Alaska, and Hawaii), they also traveled to various European Countries (England, Italy, Spain, Switzerland), Canadian Provinces, Asian Countries, and S. America Countries.
She often spoke about her husband Jerry as truly being the love of her life and her great anticipation to reunite with him in heaven. Peggy’s family is very sorrowful for their loss. However, her family is overjoyed that Peggy is reunited with her husband, daughter, siblings, parents, and other loved ones where she will dwell in the house of the lord forever with eternal bliss and everlasting peace.
