Peggy Liu Wong

Peggy Liu Wong was born in Shanghai China September 23, 1925. Married and survived by husband Harding Wong; eldest son Glenn with wife Judy, grandson Scott with wife Mary and great grandson Dylan and great granddaughter Jordan; second son Kirk with wife Aurora and grandson Ryan along with granddaughter Kelly.

The Lord took her November 28, 2010 in the morning due to health issues.

Peggy and her husband Harding went into the grocery business “Wong Food Market” in the late 1940’s and have been retired for over 22 years. While some of the early Chinese immigrants that settled in Houston, they were active in the CACA and the On Leong Association. She wasn’t a leader in any of these organizations, but was a devout supporter.

Peggy was a very compassionate and influential individual that helped our family become what exists today. She was loved and respected by all. She was known and is stilled called “Miss Peggy”.

Mom, you will be missed by all of us and our memories of you will never be forgotten. You are indeed our hero!
