Percy Ray Amy, 91 passed away October 30, 2011. He was born on April 1, 1920 in Mamou, Louisiana to Edmond Ray and Mary Amy. Percy was a lifetime member of VFW. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lois Pauline and his daughter Mary Lois Etheredge.
He is survived by his son, Edmond Ray Amy; his son-in law Thomas Etheredge; grandchildren; Kimberly Hicks and husband Mathew, Kristine Wells and husband Chris, Eddie Amy and wife Ann, James Etheredge and wife Jodi, Karen Ware and husband Jerry, Paula Walker and husband Robert Jr., great-grandchildren; Amy, Dalton, Michelle, Kyle, Wil, Melanie, Kensey, Anthony, Eric and Emili.
Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 3rd at Brookside Funeral Home, 13401 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX. Graveside service will be on Friday, November 4th at 10:30 a.m.
