Peter T. Bernardo, Jr., 70, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 in Houston, TX. He was born on Thursday, January 8, 1942 in Naga City, Bicol Province, Philippines to Pedro and Valeriana Tiuseco Bernardo. Pete graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at de la Salle College, Manila, Philippines.
Pete was married to Thelma Marlyn Neri for 28 years, but was divorced at the time of his death. He is survived by his sons, Brian and Jay; sister, Celia (Jecy) B. Sarmiento and husband Felipe (Toto); nephews, Philip and Edgar and wife Dan; and niece Teresa and husband Tim.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12 PM until 9 PM on Friday, July 27, 2012 in the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home Champions; rosary will begin at 6 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX 77379.
