Peter Thomas Lara, 83, passed away on Thursday, September 29th, 2016,in Houston, Texas. He was born on January 13th, 1933, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Mario and Pauline Lara. He is survived by his loving wife Emily Lara, son Perry Lara and wife Allison, son Todd Lara, daughter Lisa Lewis, and grandson Trey Lewis. He was a retired Navy Veteran. He worked in the mechanical and petroleum engineering fields. He enjoyed bowling and dancing. Funeral Services will be held at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038, on Wednesday, November 23rd at 11:15 am, sharp.
