Peter Lou

Peter graduated from E.E. Bass Senior High School in Greenville Mississippi in 1950. After graduation he helped his mom run the family grocery store.

He met Virginia Leung in Hong Kong and married her on December 12, 1953. They had two sons, Gary and Gilbert. They moved to Houston in 1961 where he worked as a butcher. They purchased a grocery store in 1966 and had it for 27 years until he retired.

Peter enjoyed gardening, dancing, playing mahjong, and watching all kinds of sports on television. He was a good handy man and liked to save money by fixing things himself.

He was a longtime Christian and taught Sunday school when he attended church in Greensville, Mississippi. After moving to Houston, he attended Chinese Baptist Church. Peter is survived by his wife, Virginia and his sons Gary and Gilbert and his brothers Stanley and Raymond.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00pm, on Friday, August 21st. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 22nd at 3:00pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
