My dearest Phil,
Your friendship will always be near and dear to me and my family. Thank you for the great graduation party you gave our sons. I'll always remember that night when the cops had to come to end the party 😆. I enjoyed time we spent together. You are gone way too soon. My heart aches with your passing. Such a life well lived. I love you, Betty. PS,
Too bad we never went running together like we said.

Thinking of Phillipa draw on heartwarming fond memories of yesterday, when her parents were our teacher and coach and she and her sister were our playmates. She will be missed.

Phil, I will miss you as you were a good work friend to me over the many years we worked together. I am glad to have had the time in Nov-Dec to see you and spend some time with you. I was heartbroken to hear of your tragic death and will miss you. I know your staff thought highly of you as you were an extraordinary and caring nurse who impacted many lives.
My deepest sympathy for your family. I know you were looking forward to birth of your first grandchild and you spoke often of your son. I was fortunate to know you and have your support as fellow nurse.

Where do I begin. I am still in utter shock and disbelief. Heartbroken. What a precious gift you were to this earth. Now you are resting in heaven. What a blessing that so many people were able to share in the love you gave. Helping others and sharing was what you did. You have been a mentor, caregiver, friend, teacher. What an amazing mother and example of a strong woman and what a mark you have made in this world. You along with Mom, Dad, Andie, family and the village helped guide and raise us. You were my moms best friend and our family. I can't remember you not being a part of our lives. You and Corey our little cousin. It is with these words that I mourn and celebrate your life. You will never be forgotten family. I have so many memories from the years I can't name them. The things I will remember are your smile, your hugs, your advice, kindness, your heart, the list is endless. The best memories of times we have all spent together. The laughter, the fun, the tears. Very thankful. You were always there. Maybe you can raise a glass with dad and give him a big hug from us. Rest in heaven Angel Phil. We love you always and forever. We will miss you so much. Yauna

I do not have a personal memory of Phil, I knew of her thru Mrs. Franklin from Booker T. Washington school. When I read about her passing I share it with my sister who attended Sam Houston State University during the time that she was there. Also, my brother in law, Hubert Williams attended school there as well. During the conversation with my sister I learned that Phil and my brother in law kind of grew up together in Navasota Texas. Small world!!! I really enjoy the pictures that told the story of her life even up until that last night of the year that cause her untimely passing. Thank you for letting us see the loving and caring mother, friend, aunt, cousin and family member that you all had the honor and pleasure to see and be around daily. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. May God keep you and continue to shower you with wonderful and loving memories of her outstanding life.

I was shocked and so sad to hear of my classmate's passing. Phillipa had a wonderful smile and was always friendly and so nice to me. I have nothing but good memories from school days. Gods blessings on her family, and may He comfort you as only He can!
