I lived across the street as a child from the Tilotta’s. He always had a smile on his face when we would run over to his house when he got home from work. I guess we just wanted to watch him get out of the car. He was a very positive and warm person. He’s part of my childhood and I’m thankful for that. I have many wonderful memories of the whole family.

What a wonderful man!  Uncle Phillip was always at our sides sharing that fantastic contagious smile of his. You were the twinkle in his eyes and he loved you dearly.  He will surely be missed by all of us.  But, heaven has gained some terrific angels from the Tilotta family.  I'm sure they are all sitting around the make shift table in the garage eating spaghetti and meatballs telling stories and laughing.  Some "good" times are going to be had up there!!

Nancy our hearts and prayers go out to you in this time of grief.  I sat last night and listened to story after story that described a man that was truly a remarkable human being and there is no doubt this world is a better place for having your dad be a part of it.  
I wish I could have had more time to spend with him. I remember the family gatherings with him and Lisa grandfather both laughing about how it use to be and both couldn't understand  why I didn't cut my own grass and work on my own car! I agree with the comment, “I will miss the sparkle in his eyes”. Oh what smile and it brought great joy to my heart watching him dance and laugh like he was a teenager at his 90th birthday bash.   
He will be missed and just in case you haven't heard this before. You have a lot of your dads attributes and you also have the “Sparkle in your eyes”.

We are so sorry about your dad. He was an amazing, vibrant man, who was so full of life. He was a man who truly LIVED. I still have memories of him dancing like at teenager at his 90th bday bash!
The thing I remember most about him was the day of your mom's visitation. I remember listening to him cry over her casket. I had never heard such heartfelt sobs from a grown man. He was truly breaking. I thought that what they had must have been TRUE LOVE.  I have never seen love so clearly depicted as I did that day.  The memory has never left me. I remember tearing up that day thinking, "If only everyone loved like that...that is a REAL marriage" and hoping someday I would find the same lasting love. I also remember praying that he could have gone to Heaven with your mom that day. He made it there...just a couple years later. =)
I hope they are happy, together again in Heaven.  Maybe they are dancing after a big spaghetti supper.
I read a book recently, and something it said stuck with me...the author wrote that time here on earth is a gift from GOD, and when you find yourself asking "Why?" just remember that your time with your dad was borrowed - a gift from God. When we die, we don't cease to exist, we are simply moving on to the rest of the life God has planned for us in heaven. 
Your dad did his job on earth, and now God needs him in Heaven. 
Maybe, it is your mom and brother's turn to spend some time with him.  I know that is not much of a consolation while you are grieving, but just know some day, you will get to be there too. Always look forward to that day.
Your dad was blessed to have you as a daughter. You took such wonderful care of him....and your mom and Uncle Tommy.  You were a gift to them all.
You have been a special part of my life too. Though, we are not blood relatives, I never think twice about calling you "Aunt Nancy." You are AUNT Nancy to me and always will be even though Uncle Tommy has left us. =)
You treated me as a neice from day one and will always hold a special place in all our hearts. Daddy, mom, and I are forever grateful for the love and compassion you showed Uncle Tommy.
I wish you comfort and pray that you will make it through the next weeks. Just remember, your dad has work to do in Heaven. =) We will all be there someday!

Nancy, we are so sorry for the loss of Uncle Phillip.  He was a wonderful man and loved by many.  He was my Dad's favorite uncle, and Grandpa's dear friend.  We will all miss him deeply, and I pray that the Lord gives you strength and courage.  We will keep you and the rest of the family in our thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Phillip was truly a hero to anyone who had the honor of meeting him! He was a dedicated husband, father, uncle and friend to all! Uncle Phillip touched the lives of so many people and always had a kind heart and addictive smile! He loved his family so much and I know that Nancy has a huge void in her life now. We are all here to love and support her through the tough days ahead of her! Uncle Phillip is reunited with his parents, his loving wife Aunt Mary and son Leon. I know he is in a better place and will be a Guardian Angel watching over Nancy! I cannot think of a more loving, fun, full of life man! I remember helping to fulfill his longtime wish to meet Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris! He was so thrilled that day and left a lasting impression on not only Chuck, but his wife Gena as well! They both would ask about how he was doing when I saw them over the past few years! I thank the good Lord above for allowing Uncle Phillip to have a long life of over 90 years. We should all be so lucky......Uncle Phillip will be greatly missed by all of us and he may be gone from this earth, but he will not be forgotten! He was an honest, religious, easy going and loving man with a huge, huge heart! Rest in peace Uncle Phillip and know you will always be loved and remembered by all the lives you touched! I will love you until the end of time and will continue to love and support your loving daughter Nancy!
