Phillip is preceded in death by the love of his life, Mary, his son, Leon, his parents Nancy Carker Tilotta and Leon Tilotta, his sisters Sadie Mustachio, Lena Ligotino, Josephine Scalise, Mary Barroso, and his brother, Sam Tilotta. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Nancy Tilotta, sisters Jennie Sexton and Camille Farrar, many nieces, nephews and friends.

He loved life and never met a stranger. He enjoyed meeting with his friends and never missed a chance to socialize and join them at some of his favorite restaurants. Any one who knew him was truly blessed by his warm kindness and compassionate soul. He had a smile as big as his heart.
He proudly served his country in 1941 ( WW II ), became a POW as he was captured in Italy by the Germans (Stalag 2B) and was sent to a farm in East Germany for 20 months. He was liberated in 1945. He was a proud American!
Philip was a sports enthusiast and especially loved baseball, boxing, and THE TEXANS. He will surely be missed by his dog, Cody.
