Price Allmon, born in DeRidder, LA, June 1, 1946, died peacefully at age 71 on Nov. 28, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Steadman Allmon whom he met due to a lucky chance on Barrington St. in Halifax, NS, Canada while he was serving in the United States Coast Guard It was the beginning of a marriage of nearly 50 years. He is also survived by their two daughters Kim Allmon Oliver, her husband Doyle Vernon, and his dear granddaughter Amanda Elizabeth Vaughn; and Kristy Allmon Socha & her husband Joe.
Having owned L&L Seafood for over 42 years and being a veteran of the USCG, he will be missed by many colleagues & friends.
In accordance with Price's express wishes, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Coast Guard Association or the American Diabetes Association.
