Dr. Punnee Satitpunwaycha, age 75, entered into rest on July 24, 2017 in Sugar Land, Texas. She was born on November 8, 1941 in Chonburi, Thailand, to the late Haw Sri & Changpai Phonpraserth. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Walker, her son-in-law Richard Walker, her granddaughter Dara Walker, her son Peter Satitpunwaycha, her daughter Patricia Zundel, her son-in-law Roger Zundel, her granddaughter Amari Zundel, and her daughter Terry Satitpunwaycha. She is preceded in death by her son Steve Satitpunwaycha. She is also survived by her sister, Bonnie Rodda, her nephew, Pongpipat Phonpraserth and his wife Nattha Thawitiyaman, and their twins Aidan and Alana Phonpraserth. In Thailand, she is survived by the families of her late brothers Chakri Phonpraserth and Ponchai Sukpitak; her sisters Siriorn Phonpraserth, Amornsri Phonpraserth, and Maneeya Udarwudhipong, her brothers Precha Phonpraserth and Sakchai Poneprasert, her sister Yenjai Jithavech, and their families, and many, many cousins.

Dr. Punnee grew up in Bangkok, Thailand. She received her degree from Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Dentistry in Thailand, and later received another degree from New York University College of Dentistry in the United States. She moved from Thailand to the United States and married Dr. Pon Satitpunwaycha in 1964; they divorced in 2003. She practiced dentistry in Bangkok, Thailand, then in Houston, Texas, until her sudden passing. She always enjoyed music, singing, playing piano, gardening, painting, drawing, crafting, gaming, traveling, ping pong and golf. She loved her God, her family, her friends, and people, especially children.
